What This Is About
My name is Godson Okorodudu, and I am on a mission to help 1 million employees transition to a higher life of time and location freedom—a life filled with pure happiness and purpose, a life that inspires others.
I was able to achieve time and location freedom myself by leaning into what some people call the creator economy.
I am not talking about becoming a freelancer
This is also not about becoming a social media influencer by dancing on TikTok
In fact, I consider those things to be bondage.
For instance, a freelancer has to report to many bosses (clients) instead of 1.
So while he has location freedom, he isn’t free time-wise.
The average social media Influencer loses their authenticity for cheap publicity.
Does it work? Sometimes it does, but that’s not what we want for ourselves, right?
We want to achieve time, location, and financial freedom without trading our authenticity.
The good news is that there are three tools you already use that are big pointers on how you can achieve this.
If you are wondering what they are; they are:
- Chatting/Calling People (Your Product)
- Amazon (Selling System)
- Social Media (Traffic System)
I know it doesn’t make any sense yet. Please don’t take me literally.
Just hear me out.
Chats/Calls
Chatting and calling are basic parts of our lives.
But in this context, I am using it to represent finding a problem and providing a solution.
People call or chat with you to problem-solve or socialize; sometimes both.
I know you get the socializing part, but not the problem-solving part.
Let’s say you get a call from a colleague at work, asking you how he or she can perform a task on MS Excel
Or maybe it’s from a male friend asking you how he can resolve a difficult situation with his partner
What you are faced with is a PROBLEM, and your response in most cases can be classified as a solution.
People want solutions for different problems, and as long as there’s no shortage of problems, there’s no shortage of opportunities.
There are only two ways to make money and they both require selling something.
So what do we sell?
The answer is advice.
I don’t mean you should monetize the advice you give to your friends.
I am talking about a much larger market and a different kind of advice.
When I say advice, I am referring to an information product that teaches someone how to do something.
This will be your product.
How will you figure out what kind of product to create?
I will talk about this later in this article; first, let us answer…
How will you create the product?
There are two easy ways to do this: By “Calling”—talking over PowerPoint slides or facing the camera. Or… By “Chatting”—writing down the information.
Both of them are fine. It’s faster for me to talk than to write, so I prefer the “Calling” approach.
Selling System
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should already know what Amazon is.
On Amazon, people can purchase things they want and have them delivered to them
Almost everything can be purchased on Amazon; from books to clothes to electronics.
But I am not talking about buying anything.
What is oblivious to most uses of the platform is the seller side of the platform.
There are thousands of people selling their products on Amazon.
Listen.
You need time, location, and financial freedom, which means you need to sell and deliver the information product you created in the first step automatically.
So even while you sleep, bathe, or travel, you are continuously making money.
That’s what an online selling system would do for you.
Now, I am not saying you have to use Amazon, I am only using it as an illustration.
As a matter of fact, you are going to be using your own platform.
Yes, you are going to be creating your own online store to sell your product.
And I will show you how to do that for a few dollars and in a few hours.
Let’s proceed to the final step, which is…
Social Media
There’s one thing you need to know about all social media platforms
That is the fact that they make their money from people’s attention
Facebook, for instance, has the attention of 2 billion people in the world
That makes them a powerful place to get the attention of others
It’s the same for others.
Instead of making random posts and engaging in useless banter that won’t increase your income, you are going to use social media to spread awareness about your product.
You will drive traffic to your online store, and you’ll earn money from the sales daily.
What if you don’t have a large following?
Well, then you have to pay to play.
You can start running ads with as little as $5/day and invest from your profits to scale up to $1,000/day.
This will allow you to make so much more money than you ever imagined possible.
Now don’t think this is theory.
These were the exact steps I followed to get to my first $10,000/mo, and the rest is history.
